We are seeking to hire a candidate for our Talent Acquisition Coordinator (5155).

Salary Range: $54,054.00-$67,548.00
OVERALL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for assisting managers by coordinating and completing administrative tasks involving the recruitment and hiring process.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops effective working relationships and establishes partnerships with recruitment teams, providing various support activities, including Applicant Tracking System processing/updates to facilitate the recruitment process.
- Assists Recruitment Managers with bargaining unit provisions in placement, transfers, and postings for union personnel.
- Maintains organization of all recruitment filing systems including, but not limited to; recruitment campaign files, employee background check files, applicant tracking system, transfer requests, and motor vehicle record checks.
- Assists in the preparation of employment packages for assigned positions and monitors the process. Provide support as needed with the preparation and coordination of Board Packages with the assistance of the Recruitment Managers.
- Ensures that Authority new hire employment paperwork is completed and submitted to employee services by all recruiters according to the pre-established schedule and timeframes for New Employment Orientation. Supports the Recruitment Managers, Senior Recruiters and Recruiters with the coordination of scanning documents, initiating/tracking background checks, scheduling pre-employment physicals, and other administrative functions.
- Supports the scheduling of New Employee Orientation. Secures back up presenters when necessary, ensures that all new employees complete NEO according to the NEO master schedule.
- Prepares correspondence and reports as directed by managers.
- Coordinates the scheduling of recruiting events.
- Answer’s applicant questions and inquiries related to recruiting.
- Coordinates and prioritize all administrative functions of the Recruiting Department.
- Handles disbursements for departmental contracts, travel, and petty cash, when applicable.
- Coordinates the requests for purchasing and orders routine office supplies within departmental budgetary limits.
- Assists the Director with projects.
- Complies with all Authority and departmental safety and security policies and procedures as well as all applicable job safety responsibilities. Reports any safety concerns, compromises or hazards affecting operations, the public, self and/or other employees. Responsible for personal safety and is encouraged to promote the safety of others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED and at least five years (5) years progressively responsible experience in administrative/secretarial positions required.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment required. This includes providing backup to co-workers, taking on additional duties, etc.
- Proven experience handling a large workload with the ability to handle multiple assignments with limited timeframes required; must have the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required.
- Experience working with modern applicant tracking (ATS)/HRIS systems required.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior recruiting and/or human resources experience preferred.
- Experience with timekeeping and payroll systems preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws including EEO and ADAA preferred.
- Experience working with modern applicant tracking systems (ATS) and submitting/filing background check requests with third party vendors preferred.
