We are seeking to hire candidates for our Supervisor Storeroom Ops (9015).

Salary Range: $63,700.00-$79,612.00
OVERALL DESCRIPTION
Supervises the safe and efficient operation of storerooms, central distribution centers and associated logistics equipment and personnel. Integrates with Operations and SCM Planning and Material Availability to ensure processes and resources exist to support the timely availability of all required materials for routine fleet maintenance as well as specific campaigns and/or overhauls. Leads the operational aspects of strategic initiatives designed to implement non-standard, streamlines material availability models. Continually assesses work flow and storeroom layout to ensure the most efficient processes are in place. Ensures all activity is completed in a manner compliant with all applicable safety and regulatory standards. As required, supervisors will implement indicators and tracking mechanisms to ensure departmental goals and targeted improvements in service levels are achieved.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises all CDC, Storeroom and material delivery operations on multiple shifts to ensure safe, efficient, accurate and reliable operations.
- Leads implementation of the operational aspects of all strategic initiatives and projects to implement real-time operational change resulting in streamlined supply chain processes via implementation of available technologies and various material availability models.
- Integrates with Operations, SCM Planning and Material Availability personnel to ensure processes are in place to provide a consistent, uninterrupted flow of materials to support planned overhauls, campaigns, standard maintenance schedules as well as unplanned, emergent work.
- Manages direct reports to ensure adherence to all relevant departmental and Authority policies and procedures. Conducts productivity and performance assessments as needed to raise expectations and performance levels, in accordance with Authority guidelines.
- Participates in regularly schedules Operations Leadership Team meetings for assigned Customer area to ensure awareness of all initiatives, campaigns and projects, to ensure a timely, uninterrupted flow of materials are available for all long and short term requirements.
- Implements and updates performance indicators to ensure departmental goals and initiatives are achieved in areas such as inventory accuracy, material availability, inventory reduction, safety performance and operational cost. Performs root cause investigations and develops action plans as needed to reverse poor performance trends and achieve targeted levels of operational performance.
- Supervises storeroom operations to ensure all applicable safety standards and compliance requirements are met or exceeded. Ensures processes and performance expectations focus on proper accounting, handling, identification, storage and disposal of all materials/assets in an environment of exceptional housekeeping.
- Oversees an organization where direct reports regularly communicate the front line or field perspective to Operational clients as well as other internal contacts (i.e., material planners, resource controllers, material analysts, buyers, etc.). Develops expectations of directs that information provided should focus on availability issues and actions in progress to resolve and eliminate them.
- Regularly assesses location layout, work process flows, equipment and technology to ensure optimum use of available space and process efficiency. Defines improvement opportunities and submits implementation plans to improve operations.
- Complies with all Authority and departmental safety and security policies and procedures as well as all applicable job safety responsibilities. Reports any safety concerns, compromises or hazards affecting operations, the public, self and/or other employees. Responsible for personal safety and is encouraged to promote the safety of others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field plus two (2) years of relevant Supply Chain, Field Operations or Business Administration experience required.
- In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of experience in Supply Chain operations, Field Maintenance and Operations, and/or Business Administration and education (i.e., two (2) years of related experience, equating to one (1) year of formal post-high school education) may be considered. Higher education above the Bachelor’s degree cannot be used to substitute the experience requirement.
- Must be available to work in various shifts when assigned.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and ability to handle mainframe applications required.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
