We are seeking to hire a candidate for our Revenue Attendant (9121) position.

Salary Range: $52,208.00-$65,260.00
OVERALL DESCRIPTION
Transport Revenue and Revenue Collection Equipment to and from internal and external sales locations. Transport Revenue and Revenue Collection Equipment to and from Fare Vending Devices (FVD’s) in a safe and secure manner. Service all Fare Vending Devices with the goal of keeping the unit in Full Service operating order for the passengers. Collect and Process Bus Farebox Revenue in accordance with established procedures. Ensure the procedures and standards of quality control programs are enforced and followed.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Services New Payment Technology Fare Vending Devices (FVD) and collection equipment throughout SEPTA’s boundaries.
- Services and troubleshoots PPS (Pay Parking System) in all Regional Rail Parking Lots.
- Troubleshoots Fare Vending Devices, and coordinates necessary maintenance with appropriate departments.
- Maintains accurate account of all equipment by utilizing tracking sheets, waybills, and equipment exchange receipts.
- Closes out alerts, reassigned jobs, and incidents using GSM (Global Service Manager).
- Monitors GSM for any defective equipment.
- Check Fare Vending Devices for Skimming Devices. Prevent or deter criminal attacks against point-of-sale devices and infrastructures by identifying any skimming or tampering equipment or terminals.
- Support Special events by managing the New Payment Technology (NPT) Mobile Fare Kiosk Truck.
- Responsible for hand collections of fares at dedicated events. Document all collected Revenue to maintain accurate reports.
- Checks Fare Vending Devices for Skimming Devices. Prevents or deters criminal attacks against point of sale devices and infrastructures by identifying any skimming or tampering to equipment or terminals.
- Assist SEPTA Transportation Management and Police with dedicated events pertaining to platform safety and crowd control at various locations.
- Supervise the sales agents and personnel assigned to hand collection duties at all Special Events.
- Coordinate with all Departments partivipating in the Special Event.
- Service Legacy Fare Vending Machines and Collection Equipment throughout the Authority.
- Transport fare instruments and cash allotments to internal and external sales outlets.
- Collects and process vaults from revenue vehicles.
- Responsible for the routine cleaning, maintenance, and safe handling of duty firearms, and report any operational issues to management.
- Records Revenue Verification reports and waybills; and prepares other reports as required.
- Operates Revenue vehicles in a safe and secure manner.
- Maintain 90 to 100% Vault Probing.
- Perform preliminary accident investigations of vehicles.
- Perform other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must possess ACT 235 Lethal Weapons Certification.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.
- Must have a Valid Class B (or Class A) Commericial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must be familiar with High - Tech Revenue Equipment. (Tech Savvy) preferred.
- Familiar with working in the Revenue Security Field preferred.
- You must be skilled in computers. Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, access, and outlook.
- Position requires repeated lifting and carrying of canisters weighing up to fifty pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must obtain Sub/El Transit Roadway certification.
