We are seeking to hire candidates for our Marketing Coordinator (9215).

Salary Range: $65,936.00-$82,420.00
OVERALL DESCRIPTION
Assist with all promotional and marketing projects which seek to maintain, develop, and or enhance ridership. Play a supportive role in the utilization of all current, innovative, and new promotional avenues to deliver messages. This includes offline and online media, event/lifestyle marketing, strategic partnerships, website management, and social media.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in building creative, content, and copy.
- Use social media tool to promote the brand, create excitement, and drive engagement.
- Assist in updating marketing content on SEPTA.org.
- Coordinate advertising plans, media buys, and partnerships with outside agencies.
- Assist in managing and coordinating SEPTA’s Perks program.
- Event marketing. Includes recruiting volunteers and attending events which can fall outside normal workhours.
- Coordinate invoices and track budget.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years’ experience in advertising, marketing or other related field required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience: (two (2) years of experience equating to one (1) year of post high school education), may be considered in lieu of the above requirement.
- Graphic Design Experience required – specifically working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong Computer skills required in: Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Strong Social Media Skills required.
- Event Marketing Coordination experience required.
