We are seeking to hire candidates for our LMS Learning & Development Specialist (9192).

Salary Range: $82,342.00-$102,908.00       

OVERALL DESCRIPTION

Employee development via implementation of online training tools and programs. Administration of employee development initiatives in alignment with the departmental and Authority-wide goal of increasing technology footprint.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Learning Management System (LMS) administration support. 
  2. LMS end-user support, communication of issues, and timely solutions related to the LMS 
  3. Collaborate with SMEs to design and deliver courses/content via the LMS 
  4. Partner with vendors and third parties to implement instructor-led, online content and course completions into the LMS 
  5. Works with other departments to support training   
  6. Communicates with end users on issues encountered in the LMS and arrives at a timely resolution.  
  7. Collaborates with SMEs on delivery of course content via the LMS.  
  8. Develops and revises supporting job aids, and other supplemental tools for LMS end users and administrators.  
  9. Develops assessments designed to measure understanding of training content.  
  10. Serves as an internal consultant to analyze and interpret data in order to identify current and future training needs that maximize employee development.  
  11. Plays a role in the assessment, testing and application of vendor quarterly releases.  
  12. Keeps current on training and development issues, trends and techniques.  
  13. Provides subject matter expertise relative to administrative, transactional processes, data automation, project management support, gathering data, analysis and reporting.  
  14. Creates and assists with ad hoc analytic data requests. Develops, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports and ad ad hoc queries for ongoing needs across the Learning Management module.  
  15. Supports the LMS Administrator in the following: Collaborates with HR Functional Partners (i.e. Benefits, Recruitment, Medical and Training) and divisional coordinators on assigned projects and data integrity processing. 
  16. Makes recommendations for human resource functional improvements to ensure that its processes are aligned with the HRIS system and modules. 
  17. Consults with IT team members, SMEs and process owners to advise on the best way to leverage and configure SuccessFactors’ modules to achieve business objectives. 
  18. Works with HR Functional Partners to identify new opportunities to add value to the organization; assist HR colleagues with projects (during and post-implementation), develop HR data metrics, facilitates creation of reports and help them to effectively utilize HRIS to support their roles. 
  19. Provides applicable training to HR team members and other users across the Authority including those in divisional administrators and senior management roles.  
  20. Recommends and performs quality control procedures as defined to ensure accurate and compliant learning history records, including quarterly audits. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Training, Human Resource Management, Adult Education, Behavioral Sciences, statistics or related field plus five (5) years of related experience required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience (two (2) years of experience equating to one (1) year of advanced education) may be considered in lieu of the above-mentioned requirements.
  • Strong planning, analyzing and administrative skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Previous training management systems experience required.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Demonstrated record of developing training programs utilizing effective training technologies, (i.e., webinars, computer-based gaming and simulations) required.
  • Excellent computer skills, including demonstrated ability in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud and eLearning design methodologies required.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Experience with LMS platforms required.
