The manager will also be responsible for operating the Control Center cameras located throughout the SEPTA service area. In addition, the manager will work closely with other staff including SEPTA’s Media Relations and Customer Service Departments to assist in disseminating external and internal information.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  2. During operational impacts, service delays and adjustments, the RTVL staff must receive  information from the Train Dispatchers and adjust train (tags) to ensure that display screens are  accurate.
  3. Anomalies, defects, and malfunctions are identified by the RTVL staff and communicated to the Project Manager, Control Center management and ALSTOM (the software and signal designers). The impact of these challenges is also assessed and addressed by the staff towards creating greater operational efficiency.

  8. Coordinate the issues identified in point 2 of the previous sections and ensure the appropriate response is taken.
